Montessori Messaging & Enrollment Strategy

Honest words. Meaningful connection

Supporting Montessori schools is supporting a vision of human potential; independence, curiosity, and the capacity to build a more peaceful world. Montessori education nurtures each child’s natural drive to learn, helping them become confident, capable individuals who contribute meaningfully to society.

After nearly 15 years of experience in admissions, my personal mission is to strengthen recruitment and enrollment practices, ensuring more children have access to the purposeful, hands-on learning that defines Montessori education; fostering self-direction, deep concentration, and a lifelong love of learning.

“Follow the child.”

Honoring the Heart of Montessori

The name Montessori is not trademarked which means any school can use it, regardless of how closely it follows the method. But for those of us who have seen the profound impact of authentic Montessori education, certain core principles stand out as essential to its magic.

I’m most inspired by schools that embody what the American Montessori Society calls the Core Components of Quality Montessori:

  • Well-trained Montessori educators – grounded in Montessori philosophy, curriculum, and child development

  • Multi-age classrooms – where children learn with and from one another

  • Hands-on Montessori materials – that spark discovery and deep understanding

  • Student-directed learning – that honors each child’s interests, pace, and inner drive

  • Uninterrupted work periods – where focus, independence, and curiosity thrive

These are the practices that get me most excited to support schools whether through website content, messaging, admissions strategy, or storytelling. Highlighting these elements in your communications helps families see what makes your Montessori program truly special.
